Many clients ask me how I became interested
in permanent makeup.
I
was always interested in art as a hobby. I took some lessons,
but mostly taught myself how to paint in oils by copying the
masterpieces of the artists I most admire.
Years of honing my talent for portraiture and
mixing colours gave me the confidence to meet the challenge
of permanent makeup which demands perfection on every application.
I always loved makeup, but when I first saw
permanent makeup I was shocked that anyone would put a permanent
mark on their face. After some more consideration I realized
that the oddest part of makeup is that we put marks on our face
at all. Having it applied permanently simply means that we spend
less time doing it!
In order to learn from some of the top permanent
makeup artists in the world, I took courses throughout the USA.
One of the courses was given by a sanctioned Society of Permanent
Cosmetic Professional trainer and I follow the guidelines/ethics
set out by that organization as set out by dermatologists and
experts in the field of permanent makeup.
Using an eye for detail and symmetry, I take
the time to make you a work of Live Art!
